We rely on the help of our families to keep things running smoothly. Each family is asked to volunteer two times per session.
Volunteer shifts
Range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the task.
- 30-minute shifts include tasks like cleaning a room or taking out he trash
- 1-hour shifts include roles such as supervising the snack table or assisting at a welcome station
You’ll be able to choose and sign up for the slots that best fit your schedule.
The sign-up for volunteer comes out after enrollment has been completed for that session so that it goes out to everyone at the same time, giving equal opportunity to sign up for a spot that works for you.
If you miss your volunteer job on a given week, you must sign up for another slot or pay for that volunteer job. Since our opt out fee is $50. Then one missed job would be $25. If you miss both of your volunteer jobs then you will pay the opt out fee of $50.
You are responsible to report for your volunteer job, sign yourself in on the clipboard at the cafe table and then have the director or co-director sign you off once your job is complete. This indicates that your volunteer job was completed. We cannot track down volunteers to complete jobs.
Prefer not to volunteer?
You may choose to opt out of volunteering for a session by paying a $50 opt-out fee. If you select this option, you will not be assigned any volunteer duties for that session.
